Job Description

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for organizing and implementing a long-term outreach plan with the goal of increasing the agency’s visibility to populations protected by state and federal law from housing discrimination. This position is best served by those who are bilingual in Spanish. This position is hybrid/remote.

About the Org

Project Sentinel is a non-profit civil rights agency that has advanced fair housing goals since 1976 by counseling and investigating complaints of housing discrimination. We seek to develop and promote fairness and equality of opportunity in all areas of housing for all persons. In addition to fair housing investigation and enforcement the agency also has a separate program that provides comprehensive Tenant/Landlord counseling and dispute resolution services to tenants, landlords and managers of rental properties. The agency currently makes its services available to 2.5 million people in five diverse Bay Area counties: Alameda, Sacramento, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Stanislaus.
