THE LATINO EDUCATION ADVANCEMENT FOUNDATION is a newly formed organization seeking to develop a staff and advance its mission (leaf-ca.org). This position plays an important role in the development of the organization and holds multiple responsibilities under a hybrid role, including , but not limited to, providing administrative level support and managing processes from beginning to end with minimal supervision. THIS POSITION WILL REPORT TO THE PRESIDENT 1. This position will involve a blend of remote and in office presence and a flexible schedule 2. This position will require daily or more frequent summaries of meetings
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Completes a board variety of tasks for the President of the organization including : managing the calendar, composing and preparing reports, serving as liaison with the organizations Board of Trustees, preparing board meeting agenda and completing board minutes
Communicates directly with donors, interns and consultants employed by the organization; and all with the organizations collaborating partners.
Researches and prioritizes areas of interest to the organizations Initiatives on a current basis including the compilation of relevant data
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two years of college
Minimum of 2 years of work experience relevant to this position
Light bookkeeping experience
Proficient with Microsoft Office suite(Word, PowerPoint,Excel)
Advanced applications in Google Doc, website maintenance and internet research
