Working under the Director of Human Resources, the Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is responsible for leading both the strategic and day-to-day operations of First 5 Santa Clara’s DEI journey including designing, launching, scaling, and sustaining strategic and programmatic initiatives. Responsibilities include strategy and implementation, training and development, and employee communications, as well as support with the optimization of internal processes and regulatory compliance. This position partners across the organization and its constituencies to create a workplace experience where all employees including those in non-dominant social identities feel comfortable bringing their true selves to work. This is a high-impact role with a platform to drive meaningful and positive change for our organization and its constituencies.
