Under the general supervision of the Director of Contracts, the Contracts Coordinator functions as a liaison between FIRST 5 and grantees; prepares and monitors contracts; processes invoice payments and tracking; ensures that FIRST 5 requirements and procedures are followed; provides technical assistance, training and support; performs coordination and management of data management system for external and internal partners.
Responsibilities, key results and expectations include but are not limited to:
Contracts Development and Management Support
Monitoring, Technical Assistance and Support
Coordination and Management of Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) for external and internal partners
Coordination and Management of Data Management System for external and internal partners
Education and related experience
Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent years of professional experience may be substituted for degree
Required experience: Two years of previous administrative experience in addition to education years substitute, if applicable.Experience working with community-based organizations, non-profit or local governments a plus
Knowledge and Ability
Excellent organizational skills including how to set priorities, multi-task, and be able to meet tight guidelines
Knowledge and experience in computer applications (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
Proven ability to work with a diverse population and possess a professional demeanor
Use own initiative and independent judgment within established guidelines
