PCRC seeks an experienced fundraiser to join its mission-driven Leadership Team to lead the creation and execution of the organization’s fund development strategy. This position serves as a key member of PCRC’s leadership team and is an active participant in the strategic decision-making impacting the organization. The Director of Development & Communications (DDC) report directly to the Executive Director and will manage one full-time development team member. With a strong reputation built on 35 years of trusted local partnerships, this individual will have the opportunity to expand our revenue-generating ideas in alignment with our new Theory of Change.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership in partnership with the Executive Director, Leadership Team, and Board on comprehensive long-term planning that supports sustainable growth
In collaboration with the Executive Director, develop a multi-year, strategic revenue plan, identifying resources and opportunities to further impact local communities
Effectively represent the agency to external resources, including individual and organizational funding sources and the broader philanthropic community
Create and implement a corporate engagement strategy

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable fund development experience, specifically with nonprofit organizations in the Bay Area. Candidates with direct local knowledge of San Mateo County and surrounding communities are encouraged to apply.
