The San Jose Conservation Corps is immediately hiring 50 Corpsmembers to help advance one key program area. This is a full-time/part-time position.
Gain natural resource management skills by working with State and local organizations on critical infrastructure and landscape management projects, including brush clearing and trail maintenance. Compensation: Corpsmember pay starts at $15.25 per hour for those without a high school diploma and $15.50 per hour for those with a high school diploma. The San Jose Conservation Corps also offers healthcare.
Applicant Qualifications: The San Jose Conservation Corps offers paid job training for young adults. Applicants are accepted on a rolling basis and applicants are not expected to have previous work experience. No Minimum Education Required: Those who do not have a high school diploma are welcome to apply and enroll in our associated charter school.
