Advancing Notre Dame Notre Dame High School is the oldest private high school for young women in the Western United States. Summary: The executive director of advancement is responsible for providing innovative and strategic leadership for institutional advancement which includes fundraising, marketing, and communications with a primary focus on community engagement that leads to investment. The executive director of advancement leads the advancement team in their efforts to engage parents, alums and the broader community to become actively involved as volunteers, advocates and donors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Executive Director leads the implementation of strategy for fundraising and resource growth and is responsible to meet annual fundraising targets. The Executive Director provides the professional expertise in leading a comprehensive advancement program that supports the mission and programs of Notre Dame High School. The primary work of this office is to create and sustain a culture of giving through robust communications, annual giving programs, major gift solicitation, planned giving programs and capital campaigns. The Executive Director works closely with the Head of School, the Board of Directors and the Strategic Partnership Committee of the Board to involve others in the advancement of the school through their contributions of time, talent and financial resources.
