The goal of the RRH Singles program is to provide housing stability to homeless individuals, and households in Santa Clara County, CA. We achieve this goal by providing participants with comprehensive supportive services to help them attain permanent housing including outreach and engagement, intensive, individualized case management services, housing search, and temporary financial assistance. The RRH Housing Specialist will aid participants in locating, obtaining, and retaining suitable permanent housing through tenancy education, landlord engagement, and recruitment efforts.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Direct services (80%)
Actively seek and identify available housing opportunities through outreach engagement and negotiation with landlords
Ensure participant has a voice in selecting decent, safe, and sustainable housing options • Conduct assessment of housing barriers, needs, and preferences
Development of an action plan for locating and securing housing
Outreach to potential landlords and developers to secure housing for RRP participants

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field human services field preferred
