Ideally the candidate will have experience in working in a small-team, preferably a nonprofit, be flexible, adaptive and show initiative. In addition they will have a high proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Illustrator, Access, Wordpress and have excellent verbal & written communication. They will have superior people and project management skills, with the ability to manage change, inspire teamwork, and organize others.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Program Manager will manage fundraising activities to include: donor cultivation, newsletter/email updates, grants identification, grant proposals & reports, and direct mail campaigns.
Develop relationships in various sectors in the community.
Spearhead marketing and outreach, including completing EDRC newsletter, press releases, and maintaining media contacts. This includes creating marketing materials and writing stories for local media outlets that publicize what services EDRC provides to our community.
Respond to, assist, and advocate for clients.

Qualifications/Requirements:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.
Two years experience in non-profit administration.
Experience in fundraising and grant-writing. Local travel required. Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed.
A vehicle available for daily use, a valid CA Driver’s License, and insurance as required by the State of California.
