About the Role
We are seeking 2 Child Care Site Supervisors who are compassionate, organized, and reliable individuals with a high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.
Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team. You must understand feminism and a strong commitment to social justice. Additionally, an ideal candidate will possess knowledge of and sensitivity to domestic violence and sexual assault issues, trauma, gender equity and client-centered service provision.
CANDIDATE MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- A Site Supervisor permit issued by the Commission on Teacher Credentialing.
- 15 semester units (or equivalent quarter units) in ECE/CD, which must include: Infant/Toddler Care & Development (3 units minimum)
- 4 years’ experience with children under the age of five.
- Ability to be certified in all mandated association training, including but not limited to: child abuse prevention, blood-born pathogens, and mandated reporting.
- MMR, Pertussis, influenza, and Adult TB risk assessment.
- Valid CPR/First Aid Certification (or ability to become certified)
- 2 years of supervision experience.
- Experience working in a Title V program and the ability to execute on CMR with the State.
- Ability to be certified in all mandated association training, including but not limited to: child abuse prevention, blood-born pathogens, and mandated reporting.
