About the Role
The Client Advocate works in tandem with attorneys to provide holistic trauma-informed support to our clients receiving interdisciplinary representation, removing barriers in accessing justice for trafficked persons. The selected candidate will provide comprehensive case management, advocacy, community- based resource referrals, and crisis intervention. The Client Advocate is responsible for working with clients to formulate individual case plans that assess their needs and promote progress towards goals and selfsufficiency. This position requires thorough knowledge and understanding of human rights, strengths-based, and trauma-informed approaches to best serve trafficked persons. Client Advocates employ key social work values, including survivor empowerment, professional boundaries, are familiar with self-care and addressing vicarious trauma.
