About the Role
The Director of People and Culture will oversee and champion employee culture and talent management through the development and coordination of all human resources policies and activities agency wide. They will bring strong strategic and communication skills, expertise in positive employee culture development and core human resource functions, and a deep commitment to inclusion, diversity, equity and access (IDEA). The Director of People and Culture oversees the following functional areas: employee relations, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment equity, benefits management, performance management, onboarding, policy development and implementation, employment law compliance and payroll functions. Working closely with the senior leadership team, the Director of People and Culture will lead the creation and implementation of a vision for how Bill Wilson Center can best attract, develop and retain staff while delivering on our mission of supporting and strengthening the community by serving youth and families through counseling, housing, education, and advocacy.
