About the Role

The Executive Assistant to the CEO is a key member of a growing backbone team. This position primarily supports the CEO and Board. Additional responsibilities include general coalition, hospitality, and office support activities. This dynamic position requires maturity, the ability to anticipate needs, think critically, offer solutions with a high level of professionalism, and confidentiality while working in at a young non-profit environment. This is a full-time (40 hours/week) non-exempt position with benefits, flexible hours, and teleworking. This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

About the Company

Project Safety Net, Inc. (PSN) is dedicated to mobilizing community support and resources for youth suicide prevention and mental wellness in the mid-Peninsula (North Santa Clara and South San Mateo counties). PSN is a coalition working on community education, outreach, and training; access to quality youth mental health services; and policy advocacy. PSN's vision is to empower young people, in partnership with the whole community, to advocate for themselves and their peers. Youth suicide is ended. Stigma is non- existent, and high-quality mental health services are culturally relevant, accessible, and well-utilized. We envision a community where youth and young adults feel safe, supported, and accepted. The coalition model is based on collective impact framework and committed to IDEAL (inclusion diversity equity access liberation) principles.

The coalition was founded thirteen years ago and in 2020 became an independent 501c3 nonprofit. Early Spring, the Board of Directors adopted PSN’s inaugural 2023-25 strategic plan. The priority strategies for the first year are:

· define and launch a public policy and advocacy program;

· fortify Project Safety Net’s financial strength; and

· strengthen community impact.
