About the Role

We are looking for a part-time Nonprofit Program Manager. Ideally the candidate will have experience in working in a small-team, preferably a nonprofit, be flexible, adaptive and show initiative. In addition they will have a high proficiency in Google Suite, Canva, Little Green Light, Wordpress and have excellent verbal & written communication. They will have superior people and project management skills, with the ability to manage change, inspire teamwork, and organize others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Program Manager will manage fundraising activities to include: donor cultivation, newsletter/email updates, grants identification, grant proposals & reports, and direct mail campaigns.

Develop relationships in various sectors in community.

Spearhead marketing and outreach, including completing EDRC newsletter, press releases, and maintaining media contacts. This includes creating marketing materials and writing stories for local media outlets that publicize what services EDRC provides to our community.

Respond to, assist, and advocate for clients.

Oversee volunteers to manage website and social media presence. Must also independently recruit, train, and supervise volunteers.

Oversight of general office administration.

Hours are flexible. Must come to office.

Qualifications/Requirements:

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required.

On year experience in non-profit administration.

Experience in fundraising and grant-writing.

Local travel required.

Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed.

A vehicle available for daily use, a valid CA Driver’s License, and insurance as required by the State of California.

The position reports to the Executive Director.
