About the Role
Reporting to the In-Person Response Manager, the Crisis Intervention Advocate (After Hours) provides crisis intervention services to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking, after business hours and on weekends. The Bilingual Crisis Intervention Advocate answers the 24/7 Support Line and provides Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV) response to accompany individuals and their significant others at the hospital. The Bilingual Crisis Intervention Advocate often serves as first point-of-contact for the community and completes intakes, assessments and screenings to other programs, as well as crisis counseling and safety planning.
