About the Company

Quinteto Latino is a one-of-a-kind San Francisco Bay Area-based 501(c)3 organization driving social change in the classical music industry. While the classical music world is a leading arts innovator, only a small percentage of its orchestra conductors, composers, and musicians are people of color. Since our founding in 2004, we have worked locally, regionally, and nationally to transform the classical music space from one that is traditionally exclusive and Eurocentric, to one that recognizes, empowers, and positions Latino contributions in classical music leadership and performance. Our work weaves Concert Performance, Music Education, and Activism, with the goal of disrupting and transforming the classical music space. To learn more, visit www.quintetolatino.org
