About the Role
The Behavioral Health Psychiatrist will promote Catholic Charities' mission and values and build effective relationships that inspire others to action inside and outside the organization. This role requires someone adaptable, self-reflective, and an empathetic team player with strong interpersonal skills and a desire to support the needs of children, families, adults, older adults, and probation youth. The Behavioral Health Psychiatrist will bring an understanding of cultural competency, conflict resolution, self-initiative, and a genuine interest in professional and personal growth.
In a team environment, the Psychiatrist provides direct psychiatric and medication support services to adolescent, adult, and older adult clients. Must be available for on-call coverage for medication support and/or crisis situations via phone. Up to 12 hours of service per week with a schedule to be determined based on the candidate's preferences and our agency’s needs.
