About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Program Manager is responsible for the growth of the Workforce Development programs, ensuring the ultimate success of our clients seeking economic opportunity through employment. They guide clients through coaching to the services they need, provides strategic support in their job search, ensures they are actively pursuing jobs that match their interests, and enables their continued success post-placement by coaching them through retention. They are both a coach and a taskmaster, ensuring the clients and staff feel heard and supported but also driving them towards success with constant goal-setting and active communication. As a member of the YWCA Management Team, they will participate in program planning, design, change management, staff development, goal setting, community engagement and problem solving.
