Job Description
Salary Range: $73,000 – $95,000
At AACI, we provide culturally sensitive, client-centered care to more than 2,100 survivors of torture and their families through our Center for Survivors of Torture program. Our multidisciplinary approach includes psychotherapy, psychiatry, medical and psychological evaluations for asylum cases, and comprehensive social and legal support.
We are seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will deliver direct behavioral health services to Asylee and Refugee populations in a variety of settings including homes, clinics, and the field. You will provide individual and group therapy, case management, and ensure that care is delivered with cultural relevance and compassion. Education & Experience
Master’s degree in social work or psychology or related field
Currently registered or eligible to register with he California BBS as an AMFT, APCC, ACSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCSW
At least one year of direct clinical experience working with refugees
