SVCN's Membership Scholarship Program

Our Commitment

SVCN is committed to making the benefits of membership in our organization accessible to under-resourced nonprofits in Silicon Valley. SVCN's membership scholarship is available thanks to our donors and a generous matching donation from the Silicon Valley Community Foundation.

If your organization is awarded a scholarship, it will receive a full or partial waiver of membership fees for one year.

Eligibility

1/ 501 (c)(3) organization (or emerging organization) located in or serving Santa Clara or San Mateo Counties

2/ Budget is under $1,000,000

3/ Documented need for scholarship

4/ Membership will increase the organization's positive impact on the community

5/ By accepting the scholarship, applicants agree to complete a follow up evaluation sharing with SVCN how the membership assisted the increasing the community impact of their organization.

6/ All fields are required.

Refund and Cancellation Policy

Event Cancellation by SVCN

• The Silicon Valley Council of Nonprofits (SVCN) reserves the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or other circumstances which would make the event non-viable.
• If SVCN cancels an event, registrants will be offered a full refund.
• Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, SVCN has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.

Registration Cancellation by Participant

• Unless specifically stated on registration materials, the deadline to receive a full refund for your registration is 10 business days before the event.
• Cancellations received after the stated deadline up to 72 hours before the event start time, will be eligible for a 50% refund of the initial purchase amount.
• Cancellations received within the 72 hour period before an event starts will not be eligible for a refund but are eligible for an attendee substitution if needed.  
• Refunds will not be available for registrants who choose not to attend an event.
• Cancellations will be accepted by email to admin@svcn.org only and must be received by the stated cancellation deadline.
• All refund requests must be made by the attendee or credit cardholder.
• Refund requests must include the name of the attendee/purchaser and/or transaction number.
• Refunds will be credited back to the original credit card used for payment.

Refund and cancellation policies apply to all SVCN events unless otherwise noted in the corresponding event materials. Please read all individual event information thoroughly as no exceptions will be made.
